Our linear gantry HSL is used in a carton folding and sealing system. The system combines the automated detection of the carton filling height in order to then automatically fold it without cavities and to seal it with a lid according to the carton height.
The HSL linear gantries we supply are customized special systems that consist of a linear table with HT-B belt drive without a cover strip in the Y-direction and a cantilever axis with HC-B belt drive in the Z-direction. The HSL system is used at the end to close the universal boxes with lids. The Y-axis is responsible for the accurate positioning of the Z-axis over the storage location of the box lids and at the same time for positioning over the working point. The Z-axis combines the gripping of a box lid and the closing in connection with the folding over of the lids at the previously defined folding points. The special system was designed with a customized energy chain solution and a shortened reserve stroke to reduce the installation space. Pre-assembled cover sets for the drive unit and a special adaptation for the customer's gearbox/motor connection completed the special system.
We supply bendable motion units with a high degree of customization for positioning in X, Y, and Z direction.
