Our modular linear motor axis is used as a feed axis in a high-speed mill for machining aluminium.
The powerful, cooled LMFA linear motors used ensure the highest possible feed forces without the introduction of additional process heat. For optimal protection of the axis from rough environmental conditions, the motor, energy chain, cables and distance measuring system were routed into the axis interior. This is enclosed by oil-resistant bellows. A compressed-air connection provides additional protection from even the smallest particles.
Top precision and speed with feed forces of up to 3,300 N combined with a fully enclosed linear motor axis.
